Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. Enter the building at the start and take the steps down until you see a dark wall. Use it to get a computer area map and an armor bonus. (sector 1298)
  2. Head around the first structure at the start and head northwest past the large towers and above the room on the west side to a dead-end cave. Press on the wall to reveal a teleporter which will take you to three blur artifacts. (sector 463)
  3. Enter the room mentioned above and use the switch. Enter the room to the south and use the switch inside, then go west and use the next switch you see. When the walls around the switch lower, head west to the dead end and look northeast for a switch that you can shoot. Do so to open a teleporter. This will take you to two medikits and a berserk pack. (sector 423)
  4. Use the switch near the blue key to lower the first barrier going further north. To the north is a metal structure with an arch-vile and chaingunners. Go behind this structure and head east all the way to a room with several compartments. Notice the light fixture near the compartment opened with the blue switch is actually broken. Press on its right side to reveal a button, which reveals an arch-vile and a teleporter below. This teleporter takes you to a secret room with armor bonuses and green armors. (sector 665)
  5. Get to the structures that contain the red and blue keys and use the switches to lower the barriers going on. At the next big area, head north and up the steps near the arch-vile, then use the switch to open the next hall. Use the red switch in this hall to open the compartment with the boxes of ammo, then find the hidden switch next to the armor bonus. This will reveal an arachnotron to the north, along with a teleporter. Take the teleporter to wind up in a room with two soul spheres and some health bonuses. (sector 1030)
  6. Get to the structures that contain the red and blue keys and use the switches to lower the barriers going on. At the next big area, head north towards the lift with the mancubus, then at the top, go to the left and around to the other side of the fence. Take the small dark hall outside and climb the rocks going south. In the next area with the switches and doors, go all the way until you see the cyberdemon tower. Carefully exit this area by sidling to the south along the rocks. Enter the small cave and go until you see a lamp to the side. Go in this direction to find a teleporter, which takes you to an area further southeast. There are energy cell packs and two invulnerabilities here, along with cyberdemons and other enemies that teleport in. (sector 1059)
  7. Use the switch near the yellow keycard to lower the next barrier, then drop down. Enter the building in front of you and go until the walls open up revealing arachnotrons. Head north to where the arch-vile is and press on the wall with the ridge at the top. Ride the lift up, then flip the switch and wait while the arachnotrons get crushed. When it is safe, move south across where the arachnotrons were and, through the passage, which leads to a teleporter. In this area, do not be fooled by the switch; press it anyways to open the area behind you where you can get a megasphere. (sector 1290)
  8. Use the switch at the terminal that causes the land to be disturbed. Eventually, two compartments near the terminal will open up. Enter the east one and press on the silver ridge to expose a switch, which will reveal a teleporter inside the compartment. In this secret area, run across the hall ignoring the monsters until you reach the end, where you can use the switch to deactivate the demon teleporter nexus. This will crush all remaining monsters inside the teleporter closets, allowing you to kill all the enemies in the red areas without any reinforcements. You can also follow the nearby path of health bonuses to telefrag several of the monsters. (sector 1368)
  9. Use the switch at the terminal that causes the land to be disturbed. Afterwards, once the switch that lowers the lift is revealed, take it back down. At the first big field, look left to get a megaarmor. (sector 196)
